West Central Tribune – Abdi Abdirahman Hussein applied to ensure that no persons are excluded from participating equally and fully in the human experience at the highest level because of race, gender and nationality. Hussein said he wants to secure for all citizens equal opportunity in employment, housing, public accommodations, and full participation in city affairs by supporting the Minnesota Department of Human Rights, implementing the Minnesota Rights Act and by advising the council on long-range programs to improve community relations in the city.
Hussein is currently a student at St. Cloud State University in the medical field.
