WJON – A Sartell Leukemia survivor, her husband, and the bone marrow donor who saved her life will share their story on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday.
Twenty-four-year-old Sartell native Greta Perske married Tony Hokanson in October. The family invited Danny Daniels, the 51-year-old Arkansas man who had saved Perske’s life with a bone marrow transplant in 2007, to the wedding where the two shared a dance — a heartwarming end to a story that went viral soon after.
