Guest conductor Tesfa Wondemagegnehu will lead the 2016 Big Sing Honor Choir Festival concert at 5 p.m. Feb. 6 in Ritsche Auditorium.

The St. Cloud State music department presents the Big Sing Honor Choir Festival each year.
The concert features performances by the St. Cloud State University Concert Choir, directed by Matthew Ferrell; St. Michael-Albertville Concert Choir, directed by Joseph Osowski; and Big Sing Festival Chorus — a select choir of about 200 high school and collegiate choral musicians.
Wondemagegnehu is conductor of The Radio Choir from American Public Media. He is an in-demand guest conductor and lecturer who has presented at workshops and conducted honor choirs throughout the United States and in Costa Rica. As a tenor soloist, he has performed both domestically and internationally.

Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for students and seniors, and free with a St. Cloud State ID. Tickets will be available at the door. A portion of ticket proceeds go toward scholarships for St. Cloud State music students.
