The Post Review — Stacy Council Member Samantha Denney is considered an outlier in the world of statistics.
Denney is 27 years old and the sole female council member representing the city. According to data published by Skidmore College, approximately 28 to 35 percent of small town council members are women and only 8 percent of council members are under age 40. Denney said she has a 100 percent clear focus on serving the public and improving the community during the next three years.
Denney was born Samantha Hesse and is originally from Lacrosse, Wisconsin. Her family moved to Hudson, Wisconsin, where she grew up and graduated high school. She went on to attend St. Cloud State University.
