Five St. Cloud State University students have earned grants from the Syria-Yemen Emergency Student Fund (ESF) to continue their education at St. Cloud State.
Redwan Alward, Faris Bin Madhi, Hazem Farra, Suhaib Kazzaz and Baraa Shehadeh will each receive emergency funding through the grant program.
The Syria-Yemen-ESF of the Institute of International Education is committed to helping Syrian and Yemeni students to remain enrolled in their U.S. degree programs so they will be better prepared to rebuild their countries in the future.
The students will receive their funds by early April.
