The Senate District 9 DFL Convention was held at the Browerville Community Center on May 22.
Candidates vying for votes in the Osakis area of Todd County who were endorsed include Jason Weinerman in Senate District 9, Meg Litts in House District 9A and Dustin Simmonds in House District 9B.
Weinerman has been a resident of Little Falls for the past 10 years. During that time, he has been employed by the Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources where he works with local governments to protect the state’s water resources while meeting the needs and interests of the local elected boards and citizens.
Weinerman also teaches political science and college success strategies at St. Cloud State University and Anoka-Ramsey Community College.
