It’s been a few days now.
And for Heather Miller-Koch, the realization that she is now an Olympian is finally starting to set in.
“I think it really sank in more when we got back here to San Diego and I got back to practice,” said the 2010 St. Cloud State fraduate and 10-time All-American.
The former St. Cloud State standout earned her spot in next month’s Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro with a second-place finish in the heptathlon at the U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials last weekend in Eugene, Oregon. She is training at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, California.
