Join Movimiento Estudiantil Chicanx de Aztlán de S.C.S.U. (M.E.Ch.A.) for a celebration of Día de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) 5 p.m. Nov. 1 in Atwood Ballroom.
The free, public event features Danza Mexica Cuauhtémoc, a traditional Mexica/Azteca dance group.
Día de Los Muertos is a traditional Aztec ceremony honoring the dead, celebrated in Mexico and parts of the United States.
This year’s theme is Muerte Por Injusticia (Death by Injustice). An altar will honor those who have died at the hands of injustice.
