The free, public event features Danza Mexica Cuauhtémoc, a traditional Mexica/Azteca dance group.
Día de Los Muertos is a traditional Aztec ceremony honoring the dead, celebrated in Mexico and parts of the United States.
This year’s theme is Muerte Por Injusticia (Death by Injustice). An altar will honor those who have died at the hands of injustice.
Through the morning of Nov. 4, people may share offerings for those who have died — ofrenda de muertos — at altars in the Heritage Lounge on second floor.
Traditional offerings include photos, dried food, bread, candy, books and candles.
