The nationwide celebration of international education is held each November St. Cloud State University has a full week of events Nov. 13-19 to celebrate the university’s international students, study abroad and cultures and countries throughout the world.
A joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education, International Education Week is an effort to prepare the nation’s citizens for a global environment.On campus the week includes cultural nights, fundraisers, service projects, experience opportunities, films and a conference.
One highlight of the week is the Global Engagement Forum in honor of late. St. Cloud State President Earl H. Potter III Nov. 18 in Atwood Memorial Center.
The event features consul generals from China, Spain and Mexico and St. Cloud State political science professors speaking about international education and global awareness.

The service projects will go to international charities and organizations.
