SCSUHuskies.com — Senior community psychology major Betsy MacDonald (St. Paul) is the D2 Women’s Basketball HERO of the Week.
She won a national fan vote sponsored by HERO College Sports News, a ranking, predictions and news producer/aggregator.
MacDonald scored a career-high 42 points on 15-for-29 shooting from the field, knocked down a pair of threes and hit 10-for-12 free throws in a Dec. 3 double-overtime home win over Bemidji State.
Her points were the second-highest game total in women’s Huskies Basketball history.
