Rochester Post Bulletin — Regional economies in Minnesota are projected to experience slower economic growth in the near future — except for Southeast Minnesota, the only regional economy in the state that is predicted to accelerate its economic growth in the short term.
Secretary of State Steve Simon and the St. Cloud State University School of Public Affairs Research Institute on Thursday released the latest projections for Minnesota’s six regional economies. Growth in the Southeast Minnesota region is driven by an increase in residential building permits and new business filings.
