St. Cloud Times — Charles “Chuck” Graham, the 15th president of St. Cloud State University, died Friday in Minneapolis after a brief illness.
Graham, 87, was president from 1971-81 before serving as president of Hamline University from 1981-1987 and then as acting president of Metropolitan State University in Minneapolis for one year. He was president at a time when the university was growing and as campuses tried to move on from the turbulence of the late 1960s.
