The St. Cloud State University chamber player and string orchestra are performing at 6 p.m. April 14 in the Performing Arts Center’s Ruth Gant Recital Hall.
The concert will feature “Ripples in the Midst” a commissioned work by St. Cloud State music graduate Stephen Barthel ’14. The piece was composed specifically for the chamber orchestra.
The musicians will also perform music ranging from Latin Dance music, “Dos Fuego,” Karl Jenkins “Palladio,” known from the DeBeers diamond commercial to works by the great masters — Georg Philipp Telemann, Antonin Dvorak and Johannes Brahms.
