Industry Advisory Board serves MedTech programs

Industry Advisory Board
The Industry Advisory Board helps guide the MedTech programs at St. Cloud State University.

An Industry Advisory Board made up of leaders in regulatory affairs, clinical research and quality assurance helps guide St. Cloud State University’s MedTech professional educational programs in serving the needs of the medical device industry in Minnesota.

The MedTech programs are offered at St. Cloud State at Plymouth.

The board meets twice a year to give direction and guidance to St. Cloud State programs for Regulatory Affairs and Services (RAS), Applied Clinical Research (ACR) and Medical Technical Quality (MTQ).

The board met April 4 with the MedTech program directors and with the interim dean and associate dean of the St. Cloud State College of Science and Engineering.

The directors briefed the board on the annual MedTech Career Fair held by the MedTech programs March 22 at St. Cloud State at Plymouth.

The event featured 22 medical technology companies that met and interact with students and graduates and attracted the annual career fair’s largest turnout to date, reflecting growing program recognition and the new Plymouth facility.

The other topics covered a MedTech program initiatives to expand coverage outside Minnesota borders using Adobe Connect. Board members voiced strong support for the initiative.
