The same can be said for his induction Saturday into the Minnesota Girls Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
Just like with players being named All-State is a team award, “being put in the hall of fame as a coach is a program award,’’ Buffetta, 41, said in a telephone interview.

Buffetta continued his studies and graduated from St. Cloud State. From there, he taught and coached at McGregor for two years before landing a similar position at MI-B.
