St. Cloud Times — A few hours after Gov. Mark Dayton signed most of a $46 billion budget plan, local legislators met Tuesday to discuss the session and bills with area city officials.
“I felt it was a good session. There was a lot of give and take,” said Sen. Jerry Relph, R-St. Cloud, who joined Reps. Tama Theis, R-St. Cloud; Jim Knoblach, R-St. Cloud; Jeff Howe, R-Rockville; and Tim O’Driscoll, R-Sartell, at a Joint Area Cities meeting at River’s Edge Convention Center.
Joint cities meetings typically involve St. Augusta, St. Cloud, St. Joseph, Sartell, Sauk Rapids and Waite Park.

Local projects in the bonding bill include:
• $18.5 million to construct, renovate, furnish and equip Eastman Hall at St. Cloud State University for the relocation of consolidated student health services and academic programs.
