Outwardly, the June 22 Lemonade Concert and Art Fair had all the elements that have made it a signature summer event in Central Minnesota.

But behind the scenes, management of some 200 vendors shifted to Bretta (Bergstrom) Edwards ’10 ’14 and her husband, Dylan Edwards ’09. They assume a volunteer role that Ginny Tennant handled for 43 years.

Dylan, who is a technical project leader for Stearns County, developed the online vendor map that debuted Thursday.

Several alumni, including Jerry Carlson ’78 and Eunice Adjei ’06 ’10, were among the Rock On Award winners at the Granite City Days opening ceremony on the porch of Atwood Memorial Center.

The City of St. Cloud has long used the Lemonade Concert and Art Fair as a launching pad for its community festivals, including Wings, Wheels and Water and Granite City Days. The Rock On Award, presented annually by Mayor Dave Kleis ’89, honors civic participation, leadership and achievement.
