Tim Hill, vice chancellor for Regional Campuses at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, has recently taken on another role as chief operating officer of the UAMS Health System. Hill will also be continuing in his role as vice chancellor for regional campuses.
“His dual role is an opportunity to link regional campuses more seamlessly with UAMS as a whole and to better define our programs around the state as extensions of all components of our mission,” said Chancellor Dan Rahn, who is retiring on July 31.
Hill joined UAMS in 2011 as director of the Center for Rural Health, later becoming director of the Center for Healthcare Enhancement & Development. In 2015, he became vice chancellor for Regional Programs (now Regional Campuses).
Hill has a bachelor’s degree in business finance and accounting from St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
