St. Cloud Times — A rare solar eclipse and the first round of fall classes will happen on the same day at St. Cloud State University.
St. Cloud State is marking the occasion with a viewing party called “Eclipse: Fun Without the Sun” from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Monday on Atwood Mall.
In St. Cloud, the eclipse will be partial — 82 percent at most, and that happens shortly after 1 p.m.
