There was a lot red, white and blue in Barden Park at St. Cloud State University on Saturday. The Student Veterans Organization hosted a BBQ for several hours, hoping to raise awareness about their group and raise funds to help veterans stay in school.
This was the third year the group is having a picnic, the first actually on campus, said Zac Mangas, director of veterans resources at St. Cloud State.
