Information sessions and presentations about What is Puerto Rico and Why Should We Care, the devastation caused by hurricanes Irma and Maria will take place 11 a.m.-noon Oct. 23 in Atwood Memorial Center’s Little Theatre.
Information on the historical background of Puerto Rico, contributions from Puerto Ricans and the impact of the hurricanes that hit Puerto Rico will be presented by retired St. Cloud State professor Belen Washa, community member Maribel Torres-Bertram and Puerto Rican students from St. Cloud Technical and Community College (SCTCC).
Financial and non-perishable donations will accepted until Oct. 26 and can only be dropped off at SCTCC. Contact [email protected] for more information.
