ST. CLOUD TIMES — Ah, the holiday party. Sure, it’s a festive way to mark the passing of another year with your friends, family or coworkers. But it’s also a harrowing hotbed of potential social faux pas.
OK, maybe it’s not that serious. But there’s a reason so many folks have a “this one time, at the holiday party” story — bad behavior abounds when there’s friends, food and ferocious eggnog.
Mary Soroko, student development director at the St. Cloud State University Herberger Business School, is a certified etiquette consultant. Soroko teaches classes on etiquette and social graces, and graced the Times with a Q&A on holiday party do’s and don’t’s.
