PIONEER PRESS — The Metropolitan Airports Commission recently appointed a new vice president of management and operations.
Chad Levqe, an employee of MAC for 22 years, stepped into the vice president role on Monday.
Levqe will oversee operations of the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, as well as MAC’s six reliever airports — Airlake, Anoka County-Blaine, Crystal, Flying Cloud, Lake Elmo and St. Paul Downtown.
“It’s been amazing. (I’m) just really looking forward to working with our team … they’re some of the best in the industry,” Levqe said.
Levqe holds a bachelor’s degree in aviation management from St. Cloud State University and a pilot’s license.
