ST. CLOUD TIMES — Expect to see her. Expect to hear from her.
That’s what Annesa Cheek said Thursday, three days before becoming president of St. Cloud Technical and Community College.
Sunday also marks the day Robbyn Wacker becomes president of St. Cloud State University, marking turnover at the top of St. Cloud’s highest schools.
Wacker and Cheek won’t just impact higher education in St. Cloud. Their work will ripple — as did their predecessors — throughout the community.
“The future of our region and the future of our institutions are tied together,” said Minnesota State Chancellor Devinder Malhotra. “(Presidents) are not only the stewards of the institutions they lead, but they are also stewards of the community.”
