President Robbyn Wacker will open Convocation with an address 10 a.m. Aug. 21 in Ritsche Auditorium, Stewart Hall.

Convocation takes on special significance with the launch of a year-long celebration of the University’s 150th anniversary and re-imagined Homecoming festivities Oct. 17-21 on campus and in the community.

Day and evening classes begin Aug. 27. Fall commencement exercises are Dec. 21 in Halenbeck Hall.

The ice cream social and sesquicentennial launch are 11:15 a.m. on Atwood Mall.
A technology showcase for faculty is 1-3 p.m. in Voyageurs Room, Atwood Memorial Center (AMC).
The Academic Affairs Assembly is 9 a.m. in the Cascade Room, AMC. Throughout the day, faculty will participate in college-, school- and department-level meetings.
