ST. CLOUD TIMES — Vibrant. Thriving. Unstoppable.
St. Cloud State University President Robbyn Wacker used these words Tuesday to describe the university’s future.
While some people, she said, have told her they feel defeated by declining enrollment and concerns the university might never become fiscally stable, Wacker said she is confident St. Cloud State is on the path to success.
“When we view challenges as opportunities and choose to take control of our destiny, we will see our way into a future where St. Cloud State is a university that is vibrant, thriving and unstoppable,” she said.
Wacker spoke at the university’s fall convocation Tuesday at Ritsche Auditorium. The event also kicked off the university’s yearlong sesquicentennial celebration, which culminates with the university’s “birthday” on Sept. 15, 2019.
