ST. CLOUD TIMES — The new president of St. Cloud State University gives Husky high-fives to alumni, talks with her hands and carries a Curious George metal lunchbox because it’s a good conversation piece.
“Curious George is a great role model — a little bit of curiosity, a little bit of trouble,” she said in her office Tuesday. “We should be curious.”
Robbyn Wacker took the helm at St. Cloud State in July and launched her first school year here at the Aug. 21 convocation.
She hails from Colorado and earned degrees at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colorado, where she held various positions from 1990. She earned her doctorate at Iowa State University.
