Students, employees and alumni gathered under sunny skies for the Homecoming Kick-Off Oct. 17 on Atwood Mall.

The Ferris wheel, a long-time tradition, was the centerpiece of a pep rally that included free food, a Huskies Football photo kiosk, stuff-a-Husky doll tables, yard games and more.

In the evening, students returned to Atwood Mall for Blizzardshack and the Department of Theatre and Film Studies opened Lauren Gunderson’s fantasy-comedy “The Revolutionists,” which runs through Oct. 21 in the Performing Arts Center.
