WJON — Visits to the Veterans Resource Center more than doubled at St. Cloud State University in the last five years, and the center is getting a facelift to accommodate that growth.
There’s new carpet, lights, paint, ceilings and other layout changes to the office, said Zac Mangas, the center director. It’s centrally located in St. Cloud State’s Administrative Services Building.
The next step for the revamp: furniture. A donor agreed to match up to $10,000 for furniture and equipment by next weekend. As of Monday, the center raised $4,700 of the $10,000 goal.
