The Office of Alumni Relations is happy to introduce Husky-Driven Business, an exciting new initiative to connect St. Cloud State University’s alumni.
“Husky-Driven Business is an opportunity for alumni who own their own businesses to make fellow alumni aware of their products and services,” stated John M. Brown, associate director of Alumni Relations. “It showcases alumni who have unleashed their entrepreneurial spirit.”
Businesses are generally considered the backbone of American ingenuity and impact local economies in cities and towns across the country. Whether it’s a privately-owned company, a partnership, sole proprietorship, or home-based business, we encourage you to show your support for businesses everywhere and especially those created, owned, and operated by our own fellow Huskies.
“By registering as a Husky-Driven Business, your business will be included in our online directory,” said Brown. “You will receive a window cling to proudly display on your storefront to confirm your affiliation with St. Cloud State. We also hope to feature some of these businesses in future stories for our various communications channels.”

“Our vision is to grow Husky-Driven Business to be a nationwide opportunity,” added Brown. “We are not looking to limit this to St. Cloud or even Minnesota. If you are an alum who owns a business anywhere in the world, St. Cloud State wants to recognize your entrepreneurial success and provide alumni with an avenue to network and patronize our Husky-owned businesses.”
