HUTCHINSON LEADER — What a whirlwind of changes and exciting new things I’ve experienced these past few weeks.
On June 2, just two weeks after starting my new job at the Leader, I had the opportunity to fly abroad to Denmark to finish up the last of my college classes at St. Cloud State University. I traveled with 12 of my fellow students to a town in north central Denmark called Aalborg, where I had the privilege of learning from renowned photojournalist Lars Horn and broadcast producer Michael Koch.
Horn is an SCSU alum who graduated in the ’80s and has since made a name for himself in his native country Denmark. He had the privilege of photographing the Danish royal family and recently covered the yearly Danish Royal Run in Aalborg that was attended by Crown Princess Mary.
