ST. CLOUD TIMES — Christopher Lehman, an ethnic studies professor at St. Cloud State, received the Minnesota Book Award for Minnesota nonfiction with “Slavery’s Reach: Southern Slaveholders in the North Star State”.
The book, which examines Minnesota’s ties to slaveholder wealth, was published in October. St. Cloud is one of the communities examined in the book.
