St. Cloud State at Alnwick is seeking to collect historic photos of students studying at the castle to decorate student rooms.
More than 4,000 St. Cloud State students have studied abroad at Alnwick Castle since the St. Cloud State program began in 1976. Now St. Cloud State seeks to honor their experiences by asking Alnwick alumni, staff and faculty to share photos captured during their time in the United Kingdom.
The photos will be placed in student rooms, which were refreshed in 2015 to give the rooms a personalized St. Cloud State touch. The program is seeking photos that represent the past four decades of students studying abroad at Alnwick and showcase a variety of experience including academic life, field trips, castle life and the Alnwick community.
Winning photos will be displayed with the name and program year of the alumnus submitting the image.
Submit your images by May 31 at Alnwick Photo Project.
I have some original letters and paperwork from the first visit of St Cloud students to Alnwick where I was a lecturer. I think that these should be part of the St Cloud archive and am happy to pass these on. Can you let me have an address to send them to or I can deliver them to Alnwick, once the lockdown here is over. I am a member of the Facebook ‘Black and Whites’ group of that first group.

Does the University have an online gallery of the photos collected for this Alnwick project
