Computer Science major Ezigbo Ugochuckwu is a 2022 Disney United Negro College Fund (UNCF) Corporate Scholar.
Disney awards scholars a $5,000 scholarship and a paid summer internship at The Walt Disney Company. The students also earn, in conjunction with UNCF, mentorship opportunities and assistance securing possible full-time roles with Disney upon graduation.
The 2022 Disney UNCF Corporate Scholars program is designed to nurture rising Black talent pursuing degrees in finance, human resources, legal, production/media and technology.
Students in the program are mentored by Disney employees as part of the Disney on the Yard initiative.
Ugocuckwu is one of just 21 students nationwide chosen for the program from 17 institutions.
