Now head out of Atwood Memorial Center and onto the Atwood Mall and head toward Kiehle Visual Arts Center where you will find “Odin” by Roger Schwitalla on the outside entry of the building.
Odin is a sculpture on granite and sandblasted by 1964 St. Cloud State graduate Roger Schwitalla as a master’s degree project and donated to St. Cloud State. The piece depicts Odin, the all father god of Nordic mythology, in a Viking ship. Weighing 250 pounds, Odin was placed near the front entrance of Kiehle in 1988.
