Maria Wright has been named the Executive Director of Undergraduate Recruitment and Access at St. Cloud State University. Under her new role, Wright will oversee both Undergraduate Admissions and Dual Enrollment operations.
Wright previously served as the Director of Dual Enrollment at St. Cloud State, where she successfully led SCSU through 2020 National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP) reaccreditation for the concurrent enrollment program. Prior to arriving to St. Cloud State, she served as Program and Events Coordinator for the University of Minnesota’s concurrent enrollment program and then served as Assistant Registrar for Troy University in Alabama.
Wright received her B.S. degree in Genetics, Cell Biology and Development from the University of Minnesota, her Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Augsburg University and is pursuing her Doctoral Degree in Higher Education Administration from SCSU. Wright is married to Zac, a Black Hawk pilot and financial advisor, and the two have a one-year-old named Malakai.
Wright officially starts her role as Executive Director of Undergraduate Recruitment and Access on Feb. 1.
