Over 600 St. Cloud State University alumni, faculty and staff, students, fans and supporters showed their support for St. Cloud State and the Minnesota Twins during SCSU Night at the Twins game on May 9 at Target Field in Minneapolis.
Fans who purchased tickets through the special Twins SCSU theme night ticket package received a ticket to the game plus an exclusive co-themed St. Cloud State Twins cap.
Prior to the game, Huskies fans and supporters gathered near the Target Field Station to take pictures, receive their co-themed SCSU Twins cap and other St. Cloud State giveaways, watch the Huskies dance team perform and more before heading in to Target Field.
Ahead of the Twins facing the San Diego Padres in Minneapolis, fans in attendance saw President Robbyn Wacker throw out the ceremonial first pitch in honor of SCSU Night. SCSU Alumni Association Board President Diane Moeller raised the U.S. flag for the national anthem, and during the game President Wacker, Moeller, the dance team and other Huskies fans helped sing “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” for the seventh inning stretch.
