Marc Vaillancourt has been named the Associate Vice President for Philanthropy at St. Cloud State University. He officially started his role May 17.
Vaillancourt has more than 15 years of experience in philanthropic fundraising, in addition to nearly 20 years of leadership experience. His background includes serving in senior leadership roles with several different organizations including nearly seven years at CentraCare Foundation, as well as demonstrated experience and success in major gifts fundraising, nonprofit leadership, relationship management and community building.
Vaillancourt describes himself as a connector, coffee enthusiast and conversationalist. He is a musician who has independently released original instrumental piano music. He is an avid cyclist and passionate hockey fan. He holds dual citizenship from Canada and the United States.
Marc and his wife Heather are proud parents to three children, Sebastien, Cecilia and Stella, and make their home just south of St. Cloud in Meeker County.
As Associate Vice President for Philanthropy at SCSU, Vaillancourt will partner with Vice President for Advancement & Alumni Engagement Nic Katona to provide strategic leadership, direction and management for philanthropy programs and initiatives.
