Over 600 St. Cloud State University alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends showed their support for St. Cloud State and the Minnesota Twins during SCSU Day at Target Field over the weekend. It was a victory for both #OurSCSU community as well as the home team, as the Twins defeated the Detroit Tigers 4-3 on Saturday, April 20.
Fans who purchased tickets through the special SCSU-Twins ticket package received a ticket to the game plus an exclusive co-themed St. Cloud State Twins jersey.
Prior to the game, Huskies gathered near Target Field Station to take pictures, receive their jerseys and other St. Cloud State giveaways, watch the Huskies dance team as well as the Husky Sports Band perform, visit with SCSU President Robbyn Wacker and Blizzard, and more before heading into Target Field. To start the game, fans in attendance saw a St. Cloud State video on the jumbotron before Dr. Wacker threw out the ceremonial first pitch in honor of SCSU Day.
