St. Cloud State University is introducing five new online business degree programs in Fall 2025 to support the evolving educational and workforce needs of communities across Minnesota. These programs reflect the university’s mission as a comprehensive regional institution committed to delivering accessible, career-relevant education.

New offerings include an MBA with a concentration in Business Analytics, a Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics, and three undergraduate degrees: Bachelor of Science in Finance, Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Bachelor of Science in Management.

Developed in partnership with Risepoint, the new online degrees and certificates build on St. Cloud State’s long-standing strengths in business and regional workforce development.

“At St. Cloud State, we’re opening new doors to education — flexible, relevant and designed for today’s learners,” said SCSU Provost Katherina Pattit. “These programs empower students with the skills and knowledge to thrive in a rapidly changing economy. Through our partnership with Risepoint, we’re expanding access to affordable, high-impact learning experiences that meet students where they are.”

The MBA and Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics are designed for professionals seeking to deepen their expertise in data-driven decision-making and organizational strategy. The undergraduate programs provide foundational business skills and career-ready preparation in finance, marketing and management, sectors that are vital to Minnesota’s economy.

As one of Minnesota’s leading regional universities, St. Cloud State continues to evolve its academic offerings to align with the needs of learners and communities alike. With small class sizes, expert faculty and a deep commitment to student success, the university is making it easier than ever for students to achieve their goals.

“By expanding high-quality, flexible business programs online, St. Cloud State is addressing the real needs of today’s learners, particularly working adults, career changers and students seeking momentum toward meaningful careers,” said Risepoint CEO Fernando Bleichmar. “These new offerings are not only timely but strategically designed to create opportunities for students, positively impacting Minnesota’s economy. We’re proud to partner with an institution focused on the needs of its community and the future of work.”
