Campus and the local community will have the opportunity to connect and celebrate the deep, evolving partnership between St. Cloud State University and Central Minnesota during the 2026 Provost Summit.
The annual event, which will be held on March 24 in Atwood Memorial Center, will bring together faculty, staff, students, alumni and local community leaders.
The theme, “Stewardship of place: Then, now, next,” invites all participants to renew and imagine partnerships that move St. Cloud State and the region together confidently into the future.
History professor Robert Galler will begin the day by drawing from sesquicentennial research and alumni narratives to show how St. Cloud State and St. Cloud have grown together through seasons of change, and how those lessons point the way forward.
Lightning talks will highlight how SCSU is improving health, preparing teachers, advancing industry partnerships and connecting pedagogy to place across our region. These 10-minute talks will review current collaborations with CentraCare Orthopedics, the Whitney Senior Center, District 742 and cross‑college teams.
In the afternoon, Miller Scholar presentations extend this theme and showcase the cross‑disciplinary application of AI tools and models to advance academic success for immigrant and refugee students.
Workshops, awards, speakers, and lunch will run from 8:15 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and all sessions will be offered in a hybrid format. Visit the website for the full schedule.
