St. Cloud State University’s 2026 Giving Week raised the initiative’s greatest total so far, raising over $20,000 more than the 2025 total.
SCSU hosts a Giving Week each year to crowdfund for different priorities. Originally started as the Athletics Alumni Challenge, the initiative evolved into a university-wide Giving Week in 2025.
SCSU’s 2026 Giving Week raised a total of $157,441 between the university’s crowdfunding platform and donor matches, with 1,035 donors contributing to University and Huskies Athletics priorities. Early giving opened March 25 and Giving Week itself ran April 16-23.
This year, Giving Week supporters had the option to give to any of the following through SCSU’s crowdfunding platform: the Husky Impact Fund and its priorities, Huskies Athletics programs as well as Athletics’ general and scholarship funds, and the Husky Community Engagement Fund.
“Thank you to everyone who showed their Husky pride by making a decision to support our campus,” said Dr. Gregory Tomso, president of SCSU. “With your help, we will fulfill St. Cloud State’s mission to provide accessible, high-quality education that truly transforms lives and launches the next generation of students into great careers and prosperous futures.”
