The Central Minnesota Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at St. Cloud State University helped support the Minnesota Secretary of State’s Business Services Pop-Up held last month at the Stearns County Courthouse in St. Cloud.

The event received a strong response from the community, with individuals traveling from communities throughout Central Minnesota to receive in-person assistance with business filings and to learn more about resources available to entrepreneurs and small business owners.

The event also provided an opportunity to strengthen connections among organizations that support businesses across the region. Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon attended the event, along with Dr. Christine Lepkowski, interim dean of St. Cloud State’s College of Business, Engineering & Technology.

“The Central Minnesota SBDC was glad to participate and connect with attendees while helping make business resources more accessible to entrepreneurs and small businesses throughout Central Minnesota,” said SBDC Regional Director Michael Heen. “Thank you to the Minnesota Secretary of State’s Office, community partners, and everyone who attended and helped make the Business Services Pop-Up a success.”
