St. Cloud Times — Most college students do not have a clear destination in the professional world as they finish their last semester.
Grant Thayer is not one of them. Thayer is tight end for the St. Cloud State football team and graduates in December with a degree in finance. He has a full-time job waiting for him.
Thayer, a finance major, plans to work as a financial adviser for Minneapolis Financial Group. His first contact with the company was two years ago.
