Pioneer Press — In a game littered with scoring chances, the Gophers couldn’t keep pace.
St. Cloud State scored on five of its first 16 shots and held on for 7-4 victory over Minnesota on Sunday at Mariucci Arena and a sweep of the weekend series.
The sweep was the Huskies’ first over the Gophers since Jan. 2010. It also was the first time the Huskies have swept the Gophers at Mariucci.
