St. Cloud Times — After sitting empty for more than a year, the assistant chief position at St. Cloud Police Department has been filled.
Mayor Dave Kleis ’89 announced Monday night that Jeff Oxton ’98 has been promoted from commander to the assistant chief position, which has been vacant since the retirement of Sue Stawarski ’83 and the medical leave and death of Richard Wilson ’01.
Kleis also promoted Brett Mushatt ’07 from lieutenant to commander to fill Oxton’s former spot. Kleis swore in both men at Monday’s City Council meeting.
