It is the time of year when St. Cloud State University’s student-run television and radio stations — UTVS and KVSC-FM — converge to put on a 50-hour nonstop trivia competition. Teams from around the nation and abroad took part in this sleep-deprivation race this past weekend, during which they tried to answer trivia questions not even found on the Internet.
What is it about answering the contest’s phone banks, which field team’s potential answers, that attracts so many volunteers?
