St. Cloud Times — St. Cloud State University freshman Phillip Ramsey said he didn’t know anyone when he came to school. Then he went to his first Husky Sports Band rehearsal.

“Suddenly I knew all these people,” said Ramsey, who plays the sousaphone.

If you talk to any member of Husky Sports Band, almost all of them say two things: one, the friendships are the best part of being in band, and two, their instrument is the best.
