St. Cloud Times — Social media started buzzing for Ethan Prow while he was in class Wednesday.
For the third time in four years, the St. Cloud State University men’s hockey team has a top-10 finalist for the Hobey Baker Award.
The award is given annually to the top men’s college hockey player.
Prow, a senior defenseman from Sauk Rapids and the team’s captain, is one of 10 players selected by voting from all 60 NCAA Division I college hockey head coaches and by online fan voting. Prow is the lone defenseman to reach the top 10.
