St. Cloud Times — That chorus strung together verses of an original song written by several kids and teenagers from the Southside Boys & Girls Club.
The kids had special guests: Waayaha Cusub, a Somali hip-hop collective that has performed worldwide, and promotes peace and anti-extremism.
Waayaha Cusub, which means “new era” in Somali, is in Minnesota do to several concerts and residencies in St. Cloud, Minneapolis and Mankato.
